"And after the tears had dried, my vision and voice became clear.
From my darkest shadow pierced the purest light.
I found myself: bruised, beautiful and bare, stripped of every comfort but clothed in truth.
Blooming where I once was broken."
-Morgan Richard Olivier

A Journey Back to You

The name Blooming Bare comes from the poem above by Morgan Olivier. It came to me towards the end of the hardest chapter of my life. As I emerged from that pain, I strived to find my true self. I began to realise that the more I let go of the expectations of others and of the world, the more I discovered who I truly was. When I started living for myself and pursuing what I genuinely wanted, I discovered someone I had never dreamed was inside of me. The more time, curiosity, and love I poured into myself and into discovering who I was, the more I blossomed. I began to flourish in ways I never knew were possible.

To me, becoming "bare" is about gently peeling away the layers we've collected over our lives, through pain, expectations, shame, trauma and survival until we can find the person we truly are. From that place—our most authentic self—growth becomes possible.

That philosophy sits at the core of who I am and how I practice.

I don't believe you need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. You don't need to explain away your feelings, find the right terms, minimise your experiences or pretend you're coping when you're not.

I offer a warm, accepting and non-judgemental space where you can simply arrive as you are.

Whether you're living with trauma, anxiety, grief, relationship difficulties, burnout, chronic illness, loss, low self-esteem or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, my hope is that our work together helps you feel seen, understood and empowered to move towards the life you want to live. Because I know, both personally and professionally, that even after life's hardest seasons, we are still capable of blooming.
